Since 2002 I've been quite busy teaching at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag.
I have taught jazz ensembles, jazz rhythm, solfège, improvisation and composition and trumpet. As a coach I have also been specializing in the mental attitude aspects of the professional jazz player.
Teaching is a thing I enjoy doing just as much as playing.
I consider myself very fortunate to have had great teachers myself from an early age on.

I have been teaching vocal jazz groups at het Koorenhuis in the past.
As a guest I have taught jazz trumpet at the conservatories of Rotterdam and Utrecht
and workshops in Germany (Erlangen) together with Ack van Rooyen and Allan Praskin, and
workshops at the technical university of Delft.

I am available for workshops, guest teaching at music schools and private lessons. My ideas and methods are beneficial to all instrumentalists and singers, not just horn players.
